3 Minute wonder

Myself and Connor Eke have chosen to work together for our 3 minute wonder. We are planning on making a 3 minute documentary covering the use of  and reaction to violence in video games. Covering subjects such as ESRB ratings and censorship issues and I will use interviews to present opinions and arguments. Our documentary will be educational and will be presented in the aforementioned interactive format meaning myself and my co-worker will be a part of the documentary most likely making a presence in the documentary either physically or via voice over. The primary audience for our documentary will be males or females (likely majority male) aged around 18-20's, the secondary audience will likely be parents aged 30-50 in an attempt to debunk the myth that violent video games create violent children. As I just mentioned this documentary will attempt to disprove the common myth that exposure to violence in video games causes those who play them in the real world, and instead help reinforce the fact that violent games should still be moderated but not blamed for causing violent outbursts in the real world. Our documentary will be almost entirely filmed inside the college as to appeal to our target audience. Our documentary will only have two crew members performing multiple roles, the likely set up will be one person recording with the camera and microphone and one interviewing the various people we intend to question; these roles may differ or change throughout the duration of the documentary.  

Examples of the types of questions that will be asking:

Do you believe violent video games are to blame for real life events similar to those seen in games?

How do you feel the media portrays violence in video games?

Have you personally seen a person perform a violent gesture or action that you believe could be attributed to video games? 

Have you ever been behaviorally effected after playing a violent video game? 

Do you ever play violent video games? 

All the equipment can be sourced from the college by hiring it from the AV room, any props and costumes we will use will come from the interviewees; meaning the budget will be very low as we will likely not have to purchase anything in specific for the production.

Update: After speaking to Ellie, she has said our idea is "really good" and that we don't need to make any changes or improvements. We shall now proceed with our pre-production paperwork.
