DepicT Shortlist

The three I chose are;
Loose Ends
Carpark
Junk Mail.

Loose Ends

I picked loose ends because it's funny and very unique. I wasn't expecting the naked man to just appear like that, I was expecting it to be some sort of trade. It definitely stuck out the most, especially with it's twist ending. It's simplicity also made it good. It was just two guys in a field talking about why they were there. The fact the ending was so unexpected is what I think made the film.

Carpark

This was also funny, much like loose ends, however it was funny in a different sort of way. It was also a beautiful film, it was animated very well and looked professionally made. Carpark was the first I watched and it definitely made me smile, especially with the slapstick comedy bits where he's trying to get into his car, but his car is parked in a different spot. In my opinion, it was the little things like that, that made me like it.

Junkmail

It took me a while to work out what was happening, but when I realized it's actually very clever, it's taken a literal step to depict junk mail. It was also a very charming film, in a strange, innocent sort of way. It's also quite a light film, it's not heavy or a bit depression, which is always good.
